ONLINE BANKING FAQs

When downloading the Tandem Bank Regular Online Banking app, you should select the Tandem Bank app with the green & blue logo.

Need assistance once you have logged into your account?

You can contact a Tandem representative for help with Online Banking or the Mobile App by selecting the Message icon on the dashboard.

I have locked myself out of my account - what do I do?

  • On the Home page on the website, select Online Login.
  • Select Forgot Password?
  • Enter your SSN and Account Number to reset your password.

How do I rename my bank accounts?

  • Once you have logged into your account, select the Account highlighted in blue.
  • Select Settings.
  • You will see the option to Rename the account.

I am unable to see all my accounts - what do I do?

You can contact a Tandem representative for help by selecting the Message icon on the dashboard to have your accounts linked together.

How can I receive my bank statements electronically?

  • Log into your account.
  • Select the Account you would like to sign up for electronic statements.
  • Select the Documents.
  • Select Signup/Changes, you can now enroll to receive E-Statements.

How can I change email address and phone number that I have saved in my online banking profile?

  • Select your Initials / Personal Profile icon in the top right corner of the screen.
  • Under the Contact Info Section, you can edit your email and phone number.

How can I transfer money from another bank to Tandem?

There are several options to accomplish this:

  • Log In to the account at the corresponding bank you wish to transfer money from. Using their Bill Pay system, you can complete a transfer within appropriate business or consumer limits.
  • You can write a check from the corresponding bank and deposit into your Tandem account using our mobile app deposit.
  • Mail a check to Tandem Bank for deposit.
  • Visit the Tandem Bank branch in person and make a deposit.

How do I setup BillPay?

To enroll in Bill Payment for the first time, you must sign up through the website via online banking (not via the mobile app).

Once you are logged into your account on the Website:

  • Select Payments
  • Select Manage Payments
  • Select My Account
  • Either Select Account or Add Account
  • Enter the account number to Pay From
  • You can then enter your Payees, either by “Paying a Person” to send money to an individual, or “Pay a Company” by entering an account number.
  • Pay a Person enables you to send individual payments up to $1,000.00 with a total of $2,000.00 daily.

Once you are logged into your account on the Mobile App:

  • Select Pay.
  • Select the Plus sign.
  • Select Type- either Company or Person.
  • Add the Payee information for either a Company or Person.
    • Company- name, phone number, and account number
    • Person- name, phone number, email, and shared keyword
  • Select Submit to Create Payee and Submit for Approval.
  • Once Approved, select Payee.
  • Choose Account Number and Payment Amount.
  • Select Submit.

Why won’t my BillPay transaction go through?

It could be that you are attempting to process an amount that is over the limit.

Online Banking limits are:

Maximum Transaction Amount:  $25,000

Amount Per Processing Day:  $30,000

Amount Per Processing Month:  $50,000

Do you charge for incoming wires?

No, we do not charge for incoming wires.

Are you compatible with QuickBooks®?

Yes, Online Banking is compatible with QuickBooks®.  Instructions are below, based on which version you have.

Online Banking users can use Web Connect to access account information for managing finances offline in QuickBooks® Desktop version.

How to access your banking transactions with Web Connect

  1. While signed into Online Banking, navigate to the Activity tab for your account and select the Download link.
  2. From the dropdown menu provided, select the Transaction period for the transactions you wish to download.
  3. For the Choose File Type option, select Web Connect for QuickBooks® then click Download Transactions to save the file to your computer.
  4. Open your QuickBooks® desktop software and choose Banking > Online Banking > Import Web Connect File to upload your transaction file.

How to integrate Online Banking in QuickBooks Online version

  1. Access your QuickBooks® Online account and select Link Accounts > Tandem Bank or Tandem TM (for Treasury clients)from the list of sites.
  2. Enter your Tandem Online ID and Passcode on the consent screen.
  3. Request the authorization code be sent via text message or phone call (note that the code expires after 10 minutes).
  4. Enter the authorization code when prompted.
  5. Review the disclosure and provide consent by selecting Share my Data.

How to integrate Online Banking in QuickBooks® Desktop version with Direct Connect

Account Management users can integrate Online Banking with QuickBooks® desktop with Direct Connect and make payments and transfer funds directly in QuickBooks® for fast, efficient account management.

  1. Open your QuickBooks® software and choose Banking > Online Banking > Set Up Account for Online Services.
  2. Select your QuickBooks® account that will connect to Tandem from the dropdown menu and click Next.
  3. Choose Tandem Bank or Tandem TM(Treasury) from the dropdown menu and click Next.
  4. Select the Direct Connect option and click Next.
  5. Select Yes, my account has been activated for QuickBooks® online services and click Next.
  6. Enter the Customer ID (your Online Banking Online ID) and Password (your Online Banking Passcode) and click Sign In.
  7. Select the Account you want to integrate into your QuickBooks® desktop software. QuickBooks® will connect securely to our server to download bank data for the selected account.
  8. Click Finish after the download completes. You have successfully integrated Online Banking with your QuickBooks® desktop software.

When downloading the Tandem Bank Treasury app, you should select the Tandem Treasury app with the black & white logo.

When I login with the business login Company ID, User ID and temp password provided, I cannot see any accounts. What do I do?

Contact Tandem Bank at 770-281-9880.

  • On the Home page on the website, select Treasury MGMT Login.
  • Select Forgot Password?
  • Enter your Company ID, Login ID and Email address.
  • Select Submit.
  • You will be sent an email to Reset your password.

How can I receive my bank statements electronically?

  • Log in to your account.
  • Select the Reporting tab.
  • Select Electronic Documents.
  • Complete the Enrollment information and select Enroll Now.

How do I rename my bank accounts?

*Only the account Administrator with admin rights can update account nick names.

  • Log in to your account.
  • Select Admin tab.
  • Select Account Nicknames.
  • Update the account nick names.

Amount Per Processing Day:  $100,000
